Richmond Hill Soccer Club is proud to announce its partnership with European Football Club Stoke City. Stoke City, located in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England plays in the England Premier League and is the second oldest professional soccer club in the world.
Ryan Poe, Partnership Development Manager for Stoke City said, "We are thrilled about announcing our partnership with Richmond Hill Soccer Club and bringing more fantastic soccer opportunities to the players in Georgia."
U8-U19 players from the area will have the opportunity to train with Stoke City coaches during a camp scheduled for July 28-30 at DeVaul Henderson Park. In addition, the camp will serve as an identification opportunity for Stoke City coaches. Players selected from the July 28-30 camp will be invited to participate in the Stoke City Regional Identification Camp and ultimately the opportunity to be signed to a professional contract.
"We are excited that Richmond Hill Soccer Club players and others from the area will get the opportunity to receive training from Stoke City coaches right here in Richmond Hill. It is also very exciting to be able to offer older players an opportunity to be seen by a professional soccer club with the hopes of being invited to the Stoke City Regional Identification Camp," said Drew Corbett, RHSC Board of Directors President.
Registration for the camp and details will be announced at a later date.
